History of the law firm

Founded in 1932, the Hanson firm has represented leading professional and trade associations, charities and foundations. From 1962–1989, the firm was led by Arthur B. "Tim" Hanson (Maj. Gen. USMCR) who acted as general counsel to numerous national non-profit organizations. Mr. Hanson also founded several insurance companies in Bermuda, which continue to insure risks for members of U.S. trade associations and for U.S. corporations.
